Kya is an actor- writer born and raised in New York City. From an early age Kya knew that she wanted to devote her life to bringing art to the world. Kya developed her artistic expression at the Marvel Arts Center, home of Rosie's Theatre kids; A multidisciplinary organization catered to enriching children’s lives through the arts. Kya studied at LaGuardia High School majoring in acting and later graduated from The Theatre School at DePaul University. Kya has done readings at Chicago’s New Victory Theatre and The Red Orchid, and performed at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago. Catch her on the screen with The Redline on CBS and an independent horror film called Trick, now on Hulu.
